PelotonLabs is Random Orbit’s first venture into commercial real estate development and, like our residential work, continues to introduce to Portland new progressive models for property use. PelotonLabs is a coworking office-a community of small business owners, freelancers and other professionals from a broad range of fields in a relaxed and supportive work environment. A range of workspace is available from open tables and desks, open lounge areas, conference rooms, dedicated desks and full offices. Membership levels are affordable and flexible; members invest only in the space and time they need. This new work model allows people working from home and coffee shops an opportunity to have a professional place to work, meet clients and benefit from a creative work community.
Our name comes from the peloton, the large group of riders seen in a bike race. Even though the individuals are not always on the same team they work together for the benefit of the whole to move the race forward. We thought this a fitting name for our “peloton” of workers.
