Responsibilities:

• As the first point of contact, warmly welcome and guide each guest, as soon as they walk through the door, make them feel comfortable and valued, and schedule their seating, as well as provide clear directions if there is wait, so they are aware of what to expect and how they will be notified and what to do.
• Accurately help and educate guests regarding preparation, tastes, and quality of the dishes on our renowned menu and craft drinks from our bar
• Take and deliver food and beverage orders for telephoned to-go guests in a timely manner, using a point-of-sale system
• Work directly and effectively with management, wait staff, bar, and expo
• Perform all necessary side work
• Maintain cleanliness of host stand area
• Respond promptly and courteously to any guest request
• Keep a professional attitude and demeanor during all guest interactions
• Assist fellow servers, bartenders and bus persons as situations arise and/or tables require clearing and resetting
• Practice safe/sanitary food handling procedures

Qualifications:

Must be available weekends, weeknights, and holidays

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training helpful

Pay: $10-$13.75 per hour plus tips!
