Truck Line Sales / Field Sales - Malvern, Arkansas
Systems, LLC, at our division in Arkansas, is looking for a sales professional who is ambitious, dependable, dedicated, and efficient. We are a leader in designing, manufacturing, and marketing of loading dock equipment. We are growing and currently have an opening for a Truck Line Sales / Field Sales Manager at our Systems/DLM Division at our Malvern, Arkansas location.
- Acquire detailed understanding of our products as well as our competitors
- Develop strong relationships with distributors and make joint sales calls
- Manage local and regionally based Truck Line Accounts for Poweramp, DLM and Fairborn. Serve as main sales contact with regular contact with potential and existing customers (follow-up, lunch-n-learn, correspondence, sales calls).
- Facilitate territorial sales process (prospect, product demonstrations, end-user calls, proposal, follow-up, close the sale, order management);
- Ensure high customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service
- Develop sales tools and facilitate representative training and field sales development.
- Develop territory specific sales strategy in order to facilitate increased productivity for the territory in orders, RFQ's and long-term business general planning
- Responsible for administration of existing catalog account orders, product recommendations and price negotiation. Account planning and development to get Allied Products into new catalog accounts.
- Continually facilitate and accumulate market and competitive intelligence
- Identify barriers to agreement or resolution of issues; obtain consensus in a way that maintains trust and promotes an on-going business relationship
- Set goals for the territory and create action plans that support business and sales objectives; Manage multiple priorities; Assess project urgency and make appropriate adjustments.
- Establish national account status/ relationship with major users.
- Answer incoming customer calls and emails.
- Provide accurate, timely information regarding the status of open orders to customers and technicians. Coordinate the dispatching of sub-contractors to customer facilities for surveys, installations, and repairs.
- Provide quotes for potential orders, process new orders, check status of existing orders.
- Address and resolve customer/sub-contractor inquiries and issues regarding products, service, billing, applications.
- Enter orders for direct projects. Prepare documents, correspondence as needed.
- Travel on the job as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or marketing field or equivalent professional experience
- Previous industrial/ manufacturing outside sales experience preferred
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Presentation, Planning and Negotiating skills
- Business minded approach centered on results
- Proficient computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database
- Have a solid mechanical aptitude with ability to learn and demonstrate product
- Knowledge of material handling/loading dock equipment is a plus
