PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Konecranes Technical Leadership Development Program (TLDP) is designed for entry level engineers interested in a highly successful global company that provides the opportunity to fast track their career into advanced technical and future business leadership positions. The intention of this program is to rapidly develop the technical and business acumen of these highly motivated and qualified individuals into advanced technical roles that may include engineered sales, design engineering, operations, or manufacturing of our products and services. The two (2) year program will provide a foundation for the TLDP candidates to target future management opportunities including those aspiring to lead Konecranes business units.

PROGRAM OUTLINE:

Field Service Practical (8 months): Designed to provide insight into the manufacturing industry and understand the basics of overhead lifting equipment and Service business functions, candidates will work hands-on to learn the functions of material handling equipment and understand customer processes.

Factory Practical: Building Cranes (8 Months): Designed to provide insight into how Konecranes designs and manufactures some of the most advanced and complicated cranes in the world, candidates will work at a crane manufacturing facility to experience engineering, design, automation, manufacturing and troubleshooting.

Technical Sales Practical (8 Months) – Designed to provide an understand of the engineering and sales functions to provide a foundation for technical selling, candidates will work with the Engineered Modernizations Group to experience design, quotes and selling engineering upgrades to customers. This experience also offers advanced sales training in large account management and capital sales.

EDUCATION: Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Degree (Graduating in Spring 2023)

EXPERIENCE: Demonstrated leadership experience

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Willingness to relocate within the United States and travel internationally.
