Truly Nolen of America, Inc. is seeking a Tax Accountant to join our financial team working in our corporate office in Tucson, AZ.

What will I be doing?

• Monthly Sales Tax preparation and reporting
• Monthly internal audit of sales tax transactions and provide necessary corrections and related training to ensure tax compliance going forward
• Audit of tax exempt certificates and resale certificates
• Tax compliance – research & review of tax rules by state and provide required documentation to sales tax auditors.
• Monthly accrual for Real estate and Personal property tax
• Responsible for completion of annual Personal property tax renditions for multiple states
• Income tax pre – supporting schedules & coordination with external accounting firm
• Income tax/state tax payments

What we are looking for?

• Exercise judgment and use acquired knowledge and skills to perform accounting functions.
• Knowledge of office practices and clerical/accounting techniques.
• Advanced Excel knowledge and experience to manage complex schedules.
• Must have attention to detail and experience with a focus on researching tax code requirements and staying updated with tax changes.
• Ability to work independently with strong problem solving skills.
• Effective communication skills to work with multiple levels of internal partners and external inquiries.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
• Ability to write data queries and reports and tax experience a plus!

Position requires use of Excel, Sage Intacct, Crystal Reports, Microsoft Sharepoint, Outlook, Intellichief, and Infinium software.
