We are currently seeking a Sr. Technical Project Manager (DevOps) to join our team in Irving, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).
J Job Responsibilities Include:
- Partnering with software development by using a strong mindset of DevOps
- Experience of DevOps Project Management.
- Experience and Knowledge of Cloud Migration Projects.
- Proactively manage the end-to-end delivery of engineering work for assigned scrum team(s)/project team(s) and all dependent teams.
- Responsible of project from inception to completion (including kick off, capacity planning, dependency management and execution) for up to 2-3 teams.
- Fully understand current team's product feature, technology stack, architecture. Establish technical credibility to drive constructive discussions with the engineering teams.
- Perform existing organization processes (adherence to SDLC processes, compliance, legal requirements).
- Familiarity with current standard workflow management tools (Jira, Confluence etc).
- Strong planning, organization, and disciplined execution skills.
- Diligence in execution and management of regular agile routines
- Strong verbal and written communication - stakeholders communication, status reporting.
- Be curious to identify opportunities every day and everywhere, find root cause and provide solutions, identify automation opportunities, and optimize processes.
- Prepare believable and achievable plan (budget, timelines and resources). Have the right inspection mechanism for tracking and delivering the program.
- Responsible for managing all aspects from inception to completion (conceptualizing, intake, capacity planning and end to end execution for a large program)
- Ensure program stays on track (budget, timelines and resources).
- Proactive risk identification and management.
- Deep dive to understand the root cause of the problem and work on permanent resolution.
- Strong verbal and written communication - You communicate role up of project issues and status in a concise, accurate, and professional manner for senior leadership
- Focus on customer experience, features that is cutting across multiple domains and teams. Participate in product strategy and drive product roadmap.
- Focus on bringing shared understanding by using concepts like story boarding, mapping, PI planning, scrum of scrum, OKRs.
- Measure everything (productivity, teams' performance, issues, root causes)
Basic Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of experience, with a software engineering background
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience in software developing, project/scrum management and shipping software to production
- Experience in working in an agile operating model, with working knowledge of agile tools (Jira/Rally)
- Analytical Systems thinking skills
