Major Responsibilities:
  • Monitor/initiate; handover process, checklist, SIMOPS communication, and workflow processes on SIMOP’s pads.
  • Coordinate JSA’s/
  • Coach effective site management by communicating and overseeing contractors and consultants performing SIMOPS activities. Communicating safe working conditions for all phases of SIMOPS activities. Monitor/manage sign-in/sign-out processes onsite. Ensure guidelines and processes are being followed.
  • Provide feedback and updates on guidelines and processes.
  • Stays current with JPBE.
  • Reports to SIMOPS Foremen/Superintendent on a regular basis.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor, including special projects.
  • Support Pioneer field operations throughout the Permian by ensuring that Pioneer’s Safely 8760 and Stewardship 365 objectives are met and driven consistently at the field level.
  • Expected to exemplify and enforce HSE policies. Be accountable for tasks being performed on locations to ensure safe work.
Minimum Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent certification required.
  • 2.5 years oil and gas experience preferred; 1 year Production Operator II or equivalent experience required.
  • Bi-lingual in English & Spanish preferred.
  • A current valid vehicle operator’s license with an insurable driving record is required.
  • Proficient computer skills are required.
  • Provides proper servicing, maintenance, and security for company vehicles and equipment.
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with individuals of various levels.
