The King's Daughters' School is a private, residential boarding school that serves individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism.

We are seeking Residence Assistants to work full-time or part-time in a house with 8-12 clients. CPR and Handle with Care training provided.

We have several shifts available:

• Full-time- Mon-Fri 3pm-11pm-$15/hr
• Part time-Sat & Sun 8am-10pm-$16/hr
• Part time-Fri & Sat 10pm-8am-$16/hr
• PRN-as needed $15-$16 depending on shift

Minimum requirements:

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism preferred.
• Be in good health and free of mental and/or physical limitations which would interfere in dealing appropriately with the client’s handicapping conditions and behavior disorders.
• Clean criminal background (no felony convictions, abuse, assault, neglect convictions).

Primary responsibilities:

• Maintain a warm, family-or home-like environment in a house of 8-12 clients.
• ADLs, social skills, behavior management.
• Ensure the residence is being left in a clean and orderly manner.
