The Regional Professional Education Program Manager focuses on delivery of educational programs at the region level. This includes peer-to-peer programs and regional conferences to support and train on clinical best practices. The Regional Professional Education Program Manager will support local teams in understanding goals and needs of physician customers in their geography. They will work collaboratively with the PPD team to align on program goals and expert speakers.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Coordinate peer to peer programs
  • Execute all programs locally
  • Create and manage event budget
  • Formalize promotion process to invite and welcome attendees, send post event surveys, capture feedback on all programs, and establish post event plan for field teams to maintain engagement
  • Measure impact and continuously assess all programs
  • Lead all regional tradeshows
  • Communicate routinely with all members of the Professional education, PPD and local team partners

Qualifications

Job Qualifications:

  • BA/BS required. MBS or MBA preferred.
  • 4 or more successful years of sales or professional education experience within Abiomed OR >7 years of related industry sales experience and proven success AND demonstrated desire to attain the position
  • Must be able to travel overnight extensively (40-50% depending on geography)
  • Ability to use PC's and associated software. Excel, power point and graphic design skills a plus.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Mastery of cardiac anatomy and clinical data.
