Job description

Summary:

The inspector position examines materials and products for specification deviations or defects and monitors the production. They also reject and discard any defective product or material. Accurately inspecting product for conformance to prints, control plans, and specifications.

Shifts:

• 2nd shift – 3pm to 11pm
• 3rd shift – 11pm to 7:00 am

Responsibilities:

• Accurate test results by mounting, polishing and testing as required.
• Following work instructions in accordance with documented quality system.
• Inspect products in accordance with control plans, prints and specifications as required.
• Maintain lot control and follow tagging procedures.
• Effectively communicate and cooperate with team members.
• Actively participate in and maintain the company's safety and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Able to operate independently as well as part of a team
• Must be able to successfully communicate with other team members to ensure customer requirements are met
• Ability to read and follow work instructions
• Demonstrate steady, methodical, error-free work output
