Job Details

Duties:
- Prepare and assemble new project proposals, develop estimates and detailed quantity estimates.
- Prepare detailed instructions for bidders. Have a solid understanding of current unit costs.
- Set up and attend job walk-throughs with clients and subcontractors.
- Issue the prime contract and prepare all owner change orders in a timely manner.
- Complete subcontractors buy-out and subcontractor selection. Prepare and process all aspects of
- subcontractor processes including subcontracts, change orders, purchase orders, submittals and
- RFI’s. Maintain projects/files/software in an orderly manner.
- Support the Superintendents
- Run owner/contractor weekly job meetings including timely follow-up and distribution of
- meeting minutes.
- Oversee and manage the construction schedule on a weekly basis. This includes forecasting
- and identifying problems and determining the best solution to ensure the project stays on
- schedule.
- Prepare monthly billings and review and approve all job invoices.
- Manage project closeout process including the punch list and submitting the closeout package
- to the owner.
- Any other duties or assignments that might be given.
Skills, Qualifications, and work experience:
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Solid computer skills in Excel, Word, Outlook, Microsoft Project, PlanGrid, Blue Beam and
- Procore.
- Experience with Sage 100 Contractor would be a plus as we use it for accounting and some
- Project Management along with Procore. Also, a thorough knowledge of AIA documentation.
- You must have a valid and current California Driver’s License with a clean DMV record.
- Must be able to read plans, manage subcontractors, proficient in creating, updating, and adhering
- to a schedule.
- Promote and maintain a safe job site in accordance with the company’s safety policy, while
- remedying any hazards immediately. Must be familiar with Cal-OSHA safety requirements and
- be ready to enforce all site safety regulations.
- Ability to work in the United States.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in accordance with procedures, with an
- emphasis on accuracy and proper follow-up/reporting.
- Portray a professional image, while displaying a high level of integrity, work ethics,
- professionalism and leadership when representing the company to all project-related
- parties including owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and municipal agencies.
- Being a detail-oriented team player and able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability
- to prioritize multiple competing tasks and demands.
