Summary:

Join a team that supports individuals on their path to wellness! Telos is a 10-bed residential crisis facility that works with individuals who are discharging from hospital settings, or are in need for stabilization to avoid hospitalization due to mental health/substance use disorders. Under direction of the Telos Managers, this administrative position shares reception duties such as scheduling appointments, giving information to callers, taking client payments, providing file documentation (paper and electronic), and otherwise performing clerical work and minor administrative and business tasks. The position also provides backup for counseling duties, when needed, to help provide support with transportation, walks, intake interviews, and crisis support.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs data entry for information tracking, including, but not limited to referral tracking and census information.
  • Ensuring documentation for all purchases are executed and delivered on time.
  • Issuing rent statements.
  • Updates program manuals, policies and procedures as indicated, in accordance with Community Care Licensing, DCHS, and CARF standards.
  • Updates forms as needed and assure forms are stocked in appropriate places.
  • Assures office supplies are fully stocked and purchases are completed as requested by management.
  • As needed, supports the pre-admission process, assuring all documentation is received, pre-authorization is submitted, and interviews are complete.
  • Performs duties as necessary to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Provides transportation for clients as needed.
  • Assists counselors as necessary with intake processes.
  • Assists with resident medication passes as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) not required, preferred
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, Publisher, Outlook, Office 365
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid California driver’s license, safe driver record and use of personal vehicle required
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday during business hours
  • Demonstrated ability to use good judgment and decision-making
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Organizational ability to keep accurate records
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain clear professional and personal boundaries, as well as ability to work effectively with individuals who are stabilizing mental health and substance use disorders.

Wages & Benefits:

Our total compensation package includes a comprehensive medical and dental insurance plan for full time employees, 403(b) retirement plan, paid holiday, sick time, and 17 days of paid vacation, pro-rated for positions less than 40 hours a week.
