Nesco Resource is seeking Production Associates for our client in the Scotia, NY area. These are temp-to-perm positions and will be 1 st shift. You will be manufacturing and assembling wooden skids and pallets using various tools and other industrial equipment. You will also be expected to pack and shift parts per customer-specific requirements.

Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Prior experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
Fluent and able to read and write English.
Be able to bend, stoop, stand, walk, and pivot for the duration of the workday.
Be able to lift, lower, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
Be able to learn how to use industrial tools such as hand-held power tools, sanders, hammers, nail guns, and other precision tools.
Properly use safety equipment such as safety glasses, hard hats, face shields, chaps, support gloves, dust masks, steel-toed boots, and earplugs
Be able to stand or sit up to 2 hours at a time.
Read, analyze, and interpret drawings and blueprints.
Proficient in reading and interpreting tape measures and similar measuring devices.
