We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team in our Gilbert, AZ office.

Our Payroll Specialist is responsible for the following:

• New hire entries and employee terminations
• Process weekly payrolls for both W2 and 1099 contractors
• Weekly, bi-weekly and monthly billing
• Review contracts, agreements, and purchase orders as it relates to processing contractor payroll and client invoicing
• Correspond via email with contractors and internal staff in a timely and professional manner
• Other duties as assigned
• Arrive in business attire Monday – Thursday. Enjoy Casual Fridays!

To qualify for the Payroll Specialist role with AB Staffing, you must have:

• Exceptional attention to detail is the key skill you will need to be successful in this position
• Multi-state payroll experience is a plus but not required
• Intermediate to strong skills in MS Office, including Excel and Outlook
• Must be well organized, dependable, and detail-orientated
• Some schedule flexibility is ideal during payroll processing days
• Must be a self-starter who can prioritize tasks and manage deadlines
