Infinite Genomics is a molecular, diagnostic-testing laboratory specializing in reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) testing and next-generation sequencing technologies. Our state-of-the art laboratory is based in North Little Rock, Arkansas and serves clients throughout the United States. Having a highly efficient, automated lab process with a paperless, web-based system, the laboratory can provide a 24 to 48-hour turnaround of results after receipt of specimen.
Opportunity
Infinite Genomics, LLC, is looking for Medical Laboratory Technologists to work in its North Little Rock laboratory. The Laboratory Medical Laboratory Technologist will be responsible for molecular analysis of laboratory specimens to identify bacteria and viruses using real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS).
Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end processing of patient samples from specimen prep to test analysis and then reporting results
- Perform laboratory analyses and tests. Prepare samples, set up instruments, run tests, interpret and release results to lab information systems
- Maintain complete documentation for all steps of the processes as outlined in SOPs
- Analyze and interpret patient results per SOPs
- Participate in the training of technologists, technicians, and accessioners
- Troubleshoot assays and reagent qualification issues
- Participate in verification and validation studies for process improvements, new equipment, and new technology transfer
