Summary/Objective

The Implementation Manager position maintains information technology department strategies by overseeing the management and specialist staff, including all projects, research, and implements strategic technological solutions. This position will report to the Director Field IT Services.

This position pays $85,000 - $95,000 per year with bonus potential.

Essential Functions

  • Accomplishes information technology staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; maintaining a safe and secure work environment; developing personal growth opportunities.
  • Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies.
  • Directs technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects.
  • Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments and data center.
  • Verifies application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented.
  • Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures.
  • Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
  • Accomplishes financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective action.
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Assess/evaluate client requirements against scope of project, manage project plan and schedule

Environment and Scheduling:

This is a full-time, remote Support Center position, that requires travel, up to 75% of the time, throughout North America to be onsite restaurant openings and IT setup and repair, for which a U.S. Passport may be required.

Days and hours of work may vary and are dependent upon the hours mutually agreed upon with the manager. Work on Holidays and weekends may be required.

The ability to adapt, work under pressure, multitask and work additional hours as needed is vital to this role


Minimum Requirements

Skills/Knowledge:

  • Competent working with Micros, RES 3700, Enterprise Management and POS Systems
  • Proven experience working with SQL at an intermediate to expert level, desired
  • Self-starter, initiator, strong organizational, presentation, interpersonal and consultative skills a must
  • Experience implementing communication solutions that follow the company standards
  • Experience preparing budgets, ordering of POS and Network related equipment to meet the needs of a project
  • Must have knowledge of Intermediate Network Infrastructure guidelines for the purpose of ensuring effective networking systems
  • Must have knowledge of Micros POS programming, training, functionality and assembly
  • Experience in the training of Managers and Staff on Micros POS operations in accordance to company standards of operations
  • Experience reading construction blueprints for red line mock-ups of IT and POS related equipment placement and related data, and electrical requirements
  • Experience conflict and resolve uncomfortable situations with clients, customers, peers and direct reports.
  • Experience dealing with highly stressful situations and working under pressure, all while exercising sound judgment and decision making
  • Experience working with and among cross-functional teams with minimal supervision, ability to juggle multiple tasks, and effectively prioritize assigned job duties to meet deadlines and objectives
  • Ability to read and formulate action plans, schedule, and keep accurate records
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), organization, time management, and follow-up skills
  • Ability to observe existing conditions and derive strengths and/or weaknesses of current state
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), Point-of-Sale (POS), as well as various social media sites.
  • Dynamic and positive attitude to support our culture and work environment and foster positive working relationships with others in the organization

Experience/Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in job related area preferred but not required
  • 4+ years’ experience and/or training in a related field
