Job description

We are looking for a self-starter with excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a great personality to join the sales and catering team. This is an entry level sales position -- you will give site tours, create contracts, book and manage events, prepare banquet event orders and provide excellent customer service to clients and guests.

Essential Job Functions

• Conduct hotel tours for potential clients.
• Sell both corporate and social functions.
• Meet with current clients to review needs.
• Assist with creating banquet event orders and distributing changes.
• Participate in community affairs and maintain positive public image.
• Monitor quality guest satisfaction scores and/or guest feedback.
• Potential to assist with social media presence.

Background/Requirements

• Must be familiar with Microsoft products
• Must be comfortable with social media (there is an opportunity to add social media marketing to this position)
• Previous sales or hotel experience required.
• Degree in hospitality management, business or marketing.
