About the role

We are looking for a Guest Experience Agent who is passionate about creating an amazing guest experience. You will be the frontline hero for our guests, helping to facilitate an easy and enjoyable experience before, during, and after their stays. Guest communication will be primarily through phone, email, and chat support. Although this is a remote role, we have a highly interactive team and you'll be working closely with our other GX Agents and GX Manager on a daily basis, as well as teammates from other departments. We are looking for someone passionate about hospitality and highly motivated to help us build the future of accommodations!

What you'll do

  • Communicate proactively with guests on multiple platforms (text, phone, and email)
  • Respond swiftly and professionally to guest inquiries, concerns and needs
  • Book reservations over the phone or through online platforms
  • Be an expert on Locale policies, procedures and products
  • Process payments and send confirmation details to guests
  • Upsell, when appropriate, to enhance revenue
  • Assist with group bookings
  • Accurately input reservation, guest, and billing information into the PMS
  • Foster connections with our guests, own issues that arise, and deliver positive outcomes
  • Work proactively to ensure every stay is as seamless as possible

What we're looking for

  • 2+ years in the hospitality industry; hotel or vacation rental experience preferred
  • Prior front desk or call center work experience
  • You can work evenings and/or weekends as needed
  • Extremely organized with time management skills
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Highly self-accountable
  • A people person; positive, proactive and cool under pressure
  • A team player committed to uplifting your coworkers
  • Tech-savvy and eager to learn new systems
