POSITION SUMMARY:
The Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator will enforce a workplace culture of health and safety, with the development and implementation of safety policies and procedures. Compliance with health and safety regulations will be met by training all teammates on new protocols and meeting the requirements of retraining.

SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:
- Inspects the facility to identify safety, health, and environmental risks.
- Develop and implement inspection policies and procedures, and a schedule of routine inspections.
- Develops health and safety procedures for all areas of the company.
- Prepares and schedules training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics.
- Monitors compliance with safety procedures.
- Draft inspection reports to document inspection findings.
- Ensures that material safety data sheets are maintained and readily accessible when needed.
- Maintains records of discharge of or employee exposure to hazardous waste and/or pollutants, as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety, and Health, or a related field.
Experience: Two to five years of related experience
Computer Skills: Advanced
Certifications and Licenses:
Other Requirements: Knowledge of regulations and policies, attention to detail, proficiency in technology and equipment used in environmental inspections.
Physical Requirements:
Physically able to conduct inspections and carry equipment used for inspections. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Works in an office and production environment. Will work on the production floor exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes, and noise.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
