Key Responsibilities:
- Develop an EHR interoperability and integration strategy that aligns with the organization's milestones and goals.
- Provide guidance on the best approach to selecting a FHIR vendor based on the organization's needs.
- Share insight on the fields that the organization should integrate into the EHR system and what data should be exported out of it.
- Evaluate and recommend EHR solutions that meet the organization's needs and budget.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies related to EHR systems and interoperability.
- Work collaboratively with other stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of EHR strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with EHR systems, FHIR, and EHR integration.
- Strong knowledge of EHR standards and regulations.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with EHR vendors like Redox, Zus, Health Gorilla, and Healthie.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with healthcare startups.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance requirements.
- Understanding of healthcare interoperability standards and frameworks.
- Experience with EHR implementation and training.
