Job description
Looking for an experienced dental assistant for a small dental practice. Good communication skills , working knowledge of dental procedures, terminology and sterilization protocols are required. Duties include:
1. Gathering patient information including health histories
2. Setting up operatories for procedures.
3. Taking xrays as indicated.
4. Assist dentist during procedures and exams.
5. Tear down operatories after procedures following proper techniques.
6. Restorck treatment area and monitor inventory.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
Ability to commute/relocate:
- York, PA 17402: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- Dental assisting (Required)
- 1 plus year (Required)
License/Certification:
- X-Ray Certification (Preferred)
