If you are an expert Customer Care Manager , Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you. Based in our Sidney, OH plant, you will provide outstanding customer service, lead and empower your team, and ensure the company delivers the highest level of customer service possible, while improving efficiency and morale.

AS A CUSTOMER CARE MANAGER, YOU WILL:

  • Lead a multi-plant Customer Service team to ensure delivery performance and monthly ship forecasts are met.
  • Implement actions as needed to meet the monthly plan, leading order management activities between plants, customers, and the sales team.
  • Lead team members and all functions associated with the Customer Service department, internal/external projects team, and Customer Service support staff supervising HVACR Americas.
  • Investigate customer issues, major incidents, and complaints, while providing solutions to all involved along with corrective actions where applicable.
  • Improve Customer Service quality by evaluating and improving processes, establishing, and presenting service metrics, monitoring, and analyzing results, and implementing changes as needed.
  • Own the internal projects team in implementing/driving projects, coordinating with Project Managers to handle material plans, assembly schedules, and post-build activities.
  • Lead development of order management process improvements within Oracle, EDI, and Business-to-Business.
  • Maintain processes for standard methodologies across multiple facilities for all order management activities.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Three (3) years of experience managing projects and teams
  • Ability to establish and maintain multi-level relationships within all facilities to achieve goals
  • Strong root-cause analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work within a production environment and lead multiple long-term and day-to-day issues simultaneously
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

  • Master’s degree
  • APICS certification
  • Five (5) years in a manufacturing environment with a consistent track record in customer service

Flexible Work Schedule – Remote Work Options and Core Hours

We offer a work-life balance to our employees, general working hours for this position are 8 a - 5 p Eastern. We offer schedule flexibility as long as needs of customers across multiple time zones are met.

This location is the headquarters for our HVACR Americas business unit. Through our many years of compressor expertise, our products help bring comfort and convenience to refrigeration, commercial, industrial, and residential spaces. Approximately 1600 employees work in Sidney, who all support a multitude of business functions.
