JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a tenacious, confident, rockstar residential Construction Manager to join our team as a Project Manager. In this role, there will be an emphasis on creating scopes of work, creating materials lists, bidding out jobs and hiring subs to get the job done on budget. You will take charge of project plans from start dates through completion, overseeing General Contractors for quality, efficiency, and adherence to the predetermined budget and schedule.

We move at a fast pace! You will be running 4-12 projects at any given time. You will have a high level of autonomy. NO micro-managing on our part, but expect you to deliver. Applicants must have extensive experience solving problems as they come up, delegating promptly and effectively, coordinating schedules, and communicating daily.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• You’re a Scope Master. You determine project deliverables and specifications, including scope, resources, and labor, by collaborating with clients, engineers, and architects

• You understand dollars and cents. You calculate the cost estimate of all project tasks and accurately manage the project budget.

• Planning and scheduling are second nature to you. You plan well in advance and schedule the entire construction project, including ordering, operations, permits, and inspections.

• You’re a Leader. You manage General Contractors and construction workers, give guidance, and keep everyone accountable.

• Determining accurate material lists and ensure all materials are onsite according to plan

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years residential project management experience

• In-depth knowledge of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building codes, blueprints, permits, construction equipment, material resources, construction processes, and project management principles

• Experience using construction or project management software preferred (we use Builder trend)

• Strong communication skills, leadership skills, organizational skills, problem-solving skills, and time-management skills

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

10 hour shift
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
Supplemental pay types:

Bonus pay
