• Perform multiple tasks simultaneously to ensure all food orders are completed and executed within proper service timing
• Prepare, cook, and serve items in accordance to the recipes while preparing raw ingredients into the finished product and complying with all portion and quality standards
• Demonstrate a complete understanding of daily menu items and explain it to customers accurately
• Ensure quality and visual presentation of food
• Assist other associates to ensure all kitchen duties are completed within given time constraints
• Assist in other areas of the operation as needed
• Ensure all proper steps of service are following in accordance to Convene standards
• Prepare any catering orders that are placed
• Responsible for constant sanitation, organization and proper food handling

• Minimum 1 year Cook experience in a related role
• Demonstrate basic knowledge of culinary
• Strong cooking and knife skills required
• Positive and enthusiastic approach to all assignments
• Works well with others
• Good communication skills
• Presentation and customer service skills imperative
• Cheerful and helpful manner when dealing with customers
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required; rotating work schedule that may include nights and weekends
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
• Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
