Job description

Primary Job Purpose:

Safely and efficiently repair/replace commercial tires, agricultural tires, and industrial tires

Duties:

· Properly mount/dismount commercial tires

· Lift and lower commercial vehicles in a manner consistent with safe operating procedures

· Repair/replace all tires and tubes

· Clean and sweep bays daily, or as needed, and keep work benches organized

· Clean and maintain equipment - Roll up air hoses and hang up air guns when not in use

· Work in a professional manner around customers and co workers

· Perform other appropriate tasks and functions as requested by supervisor

· Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing all Personal Protective Equipment as required for position, reporting all Near Misses, and reporting all incidents & filing appropriate paperwork in required time frames.

Minimum Job Requirements

· Candidates should be able to lift/carry 75lbs on a frequent basis, and up to 100 lbs on an occasional basis

· Frequent kneeling, bending, climbing, standing, crouching required

· Indoor and outdoor work will be required year-round, as well as exposure to various irritants and solvents such as automotive fluids, dust, etc

· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and work orders

· Legally eligible to drive a vehicle and able to pass company MVR check

Normal hours are 730am - 5pm Monday – Friday, however, may be required to stay late to meet customer demands during peak season

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
