Chemical Systems is seeking a Chemical Operator for a great opportunity working for manufacturing company in the Orlando, Florida area that services the food and beverage industry.

Job Description:

• Safety is our highest priority and needs to be the highest priority of our employees.
• Receive bulk materials, weigh and blend materials in strict accordance with manufacturing procedures, scale drums/totes, operate a pump, and package finished goods into drums & totes.
• Run batching operations, sample and analyze plant material; complete mix reports, inventory sheets, etc. as requested.
• Each Operator is accountable for the highest level of quality and housekeeping within their daily job. Report anything of concern or needing repair to plant management.
• Operators may/will be required to work weekends and holidays depending on the demands of the business and work overtime as production demands dictate.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, formulas and procedure manuals.
• Ability to communicate effectively through verbal and written channels.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel required.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 55 pounds.

Requirements:

• High school Diploma or GED preferred.
• Manufacturing or production experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Forklift experience preferred.
