Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
About us
Personal Touch Medical Center is a primary care medical office located in Fairburn, Georgia. We have been providing compassionate medical care to our patients for over 10 years. We are looking for team members to join us is our mission to continue to serve the medical needs of our community.
You will support the doctor through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Medication Reconciliation
- Triage Patients in exam rooms
- Communicate patient care with other Medical Assistants and Doctor
- Interview patients and document medical history in Electronic Medical Records system
- Assist during medical examinations
- Prepare and clean examination rooms
- Assists with front office-check in and check out patients
- Verify patient insurance
Skills
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Work well in a team setting with other MAs, the provider, and front office staff
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Proficiency using medical electronic medical records systems
- Degree as a Medical Assistance
- Trained and excels at performing phlebotomy, EKGs, obtain accurate vitals signs, vaccine injections

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
1. All patients are required to wear masks while in the medical office.
2. All staff are required to wears masks and while at work.
3. COVID 19 vaccines is strongly recommended to all staffs.

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- EMR systems: 2 years (Preferred)
- Medical Assistants: 2 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- BLS Certification (Preferred)
- Certified Medical Assistant (Required)
