Our multi-million dollar Construction & Millwork Company located in Dacula, GA is seeking to hire experienced Service Techs to join our construction team and continue to build upon the company’s history of successful projects. REPORTS TO: Service/Project Manager
GENERAL SUMMARY: Works under the direct supervision of the Service/Project Manager; maintains satisfactory fulfillment of service requests related to commercial facilities maintenance and renovations.
ROLES:
1) Complete tasks as assigned
a) Work orders:
- Unsupervised completion of work orders
- Provide accurate documentation related to each work order for travel and expenses
- Turn in signed work orders within one day of completion
b) Act as working supervisor during minor renovations, ensuring safety and quality.
c) Ensure customer satisfaction and prevent call backs through quality of work.
2) Manage company resources, time, expenses, material, tools, and equipment
a) Adhere to job related budgets and bids, manage, control, and reduce job related expenditures to ensure a successful and profitable project
b) Submit all expense reports and enter time per required schedules
c) Efficient use of time and travel
d) Return tools and equipment in a timely manner and in good condition
3) Job site safety compliance and cleanliness
a) maintain and use tools and equipment in safe operating condition
b) follow safety procedures, protocols, and regulations related to the job and work site
- Adherence to company policies and processes (EOS, Handbook, The Way)
- Additional duties as occasionally assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 4 to 10 years experience in carpentry and/or industry related trades
- Proficient understanding of industry standard’s of measure and material applications
- High level of knowledge and competency in all aspects of general carpentry
- Knowledgeable and capable of performing minor plumbing repairs
- Minor proficiency in electrical repairs
- General ability to read/understand blueprints
- Basic computer skills required (Internet, Microsoft Office).
- Basic smartphone and tablet skills

- Understand and maintain industry standards for quality workmanship on a consistent basis
- Maintain acceptable ratio of quality work to job-time completion
- Maintain effective team work and workflow on the job site
- Reliable attendance and the demonstrated ability to take direction
- Demonstrate an ability to increase and maintain technical skills/learning the trade
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers
- Ability to share trade skills with co-workers; mentor
WORK ENVIRONMENT:

- Work site is indoors or outdoors
- Must wear personal protective equipment when applicable (safety glasses, dust masks, ear protection, etc.)
- Travel required (local and out of state)
- Variable hours, including night
- Reliable transportation
- Personal inventory of basic tools (carpentry, tiling, electrical, and plumbing trades)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

- Must be able to carry 60 to 100lbs. or more an average of 50 feet on a regular basis
