Job description

We are seeking a low voltage technician or candidates with technology exposure to join our growing team.

Installation, termination, and testing of various types of voice data cables as well as security/access control equipment (CCTVs, IP Cameras, Exit Mushrooms, Access Controls and other Physical Security systems) and general IT Network hardware installation.

Other job duties:

  • Rack and stack of network switches, cables, and cable management
  • Installation of WiFi Access Points Indoor & Outdoor locations
  • Pulling and routing CAT5 or CAT6 cable in a new construction and existing structure commercial environment
  • Terminating of data jacks
  • Installing support structures (ladders, racks, j-hooks)
  • Must be comfortable working from scissor/boom lifts if required

Other details:

Sunday-Wednesday typically / 10 hour NIGHT shifts

Work with hand tools and power tools. Good communication and people skills are a must as we are working on commercial sites.

Must pass a drug test and background check.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • Night shift
  • No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Arlington, TX: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • Security system Installation: 1 year (Required)
  • Networking Cable: 1 year (Required)
