(Alabama, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia) to support our growing team.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Prospecting for potential new clients and to increase business.
  • Cold calling as appropriate within your market and geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Identifying potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.
  • Researching and building relationships with new clients.
  • Presenting new products and services to enhance existing relationships.
  • Working with sales representatives to develop account strategies and objectives.
  • Participating in the positioning of solutions / services.
  • Working with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
  • Handling objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements, and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
  • Presenting images that mirror that of the client.


WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM:

  • 2+ years of business development experience in business-to-business technology solutions.
  • Excellent customer service, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to build rapport with clients and prospects.
  • Highly motivated self-starter, results-driven individual who is not afraid of accountability.
  • Possess ability to explain product features and benefits.
  • Exceptional time management and ability to prioritize.
  • Previous experience with CRM preferred.
  • Possess intermediate ability to use Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Experience with government entities and PD/FD/EMS, preferred.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to frequently stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear; lift (overhead, waist level) from the floor, bending, frequently utilize near vision use for reading and computer use; occasionally move equipment weighing up to 15 pounds, and frequently position self to maintain computers or other equipment as needed.

Travel as necessary to support company and customer needs.
