Community Options, Inc. is a national non-profit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 11 states.

We are seeking a Behavior Support Analyst in San Antonio, TX to utilize ingenuity and creativity to determine the best training methods, assistance, and support for an individual with disabilities.

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst uses best practices within a community-based setting to support our individuals to live as independently as possible. This individual must be able to efficiently conduct trainings in a public environment, exercise patience, work a flexible schedule, and respond to crisis situations effectively.

Requirements:

• BCBA Certification in Texas.
• Master’s Degree in behavioral analysis, psychology, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the development and implementation of behavioral support plans.
• Knowledge of Positive Behavioral Supports.
• Ability to conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments.
• 50-70% Travel required

Responsibilities:

• One on One observation and interaction with individuals supported.
• Conduct functional behavioral assessments and analyses.
• Develop individualized prevention and treatment plans (goals, objectives, and interventions) and monitors progress towards goals.
• Will need to meet 80% billable hours requirement
• Driving between San Antonio, Austin and Dallas.
• Occasional overnight/air travel required
• Training of staff on implementation of plans.
• Participate in Circle(s) of Support for personal future planning.
• Prepare progress reports for consumer's immediate support group, including their family and/or guardian, staff, employment specialist, case manager, and other professionals.
• Write and approve Behavior Plans for individuals in the supports program.
• Support the behavior supports that the current behaviorists are giving.
• Serve as an active member of each person’s Inter-Disciplinary Team (IDT).
