Mindcolor Autism is an autism therapy provider committed to improving the lives of children and family members impacted by autism spectrum disorder (ASD). We utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to offer individualized programs for children of all ages and abilities. We are looking for a Billing Specialist to join our team!

Role:

If so, we are looking for a passionate, diligent and self-motivated entry level Billing Specialist to become part of our expanding billing team. Our billing team plays the most crucial role behind the scenes in the perpetual functioning of our organization. We pride ourselves in fostering a friendly, team-oriented culture that is focused on developing each member of our team!

Job Duties:

Claim data entry into Commercial and Medicaid managed care portal(s)

Work accounts receivable through reprocessing, corrected claims or appeals

Create accounts receivable projects for high priority clients

Run benefit eligibility checks for new clients

Provide support to billing manager

Perform other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Associates Degree preferred but High School Diploma required

Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills

Prior experience in ABA preferred but not required

Very tech savvy and tech oriented - able to pick up new technology quickly with training

Self-motivated and effective time management skills for setting own schedule in a remote environment

Results driven through analytical and problem-solving skills

Proven ability to execute in high growth, fast-changing environment

Strong sense of ownership; driving initiatives from inception to completion

High degree of trustworthiness and attention to detail

Data entry (1 year required)

Proficient in Microsoft Products (Excel, Word)
