We are a family-owned, full-service automotive dealership in the Los Angeles area looking for a general office clerk who can handle various positions and tasks. The right candidate will know the accounting processes of automotive dealership operations.

We are a team of great people working together to care for our customers and each other. We operate with flexible guidelines to promote employee satisfaction.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Match invoices to receiving documents.
  • Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval
  • Distributes signed checks as required.
  • Post invoices into the computer system.
  • Answers all vendor inquiries.
  • Research vendor statements, phone calls, and discrepancies.
  • File paid and unpaid invoices and statements.
  • Create and mail receivable statements.
  • Collect payments from vendors and accurately record them into the system.
  • Update customer accounts based on payment and contact information.
  • Maintain receivable schedules.
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and pricing disputes.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from colleagues, managers, and customers.
  • Perform all duties related to accounts receivable billing and collections.
  • Maintain a cooperative manner with other employees.
  • CDK experience.
  • Any other duties as assigned by management.
  • You will need the following:
  • A high school diploma or higher

  • Knowledge of the automotive dealership process

  • Strong mathematical ability

  • Experience handling high volumes of paperwork.

  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail

  • Effective communication ability

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Work, and Outlook

  • Accounting experience
