Description
We are looking for an Accountant to join our Hydrasearch team in Stevensville, MD! The Accountant fulfills integral transactional and reporting functions in the accounting processes. This role touches all aspects of accounting from Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Inventory Control, Cash Management, Monthly Account Reconciliations, and other special projects as needed.
Responsibilities:

New customer and vendor setup.

Posting daily invoices; processing vendor invoices.

Applying customer payments; accounts receivable collections.

Posting journal entries.

Reviewing and reconciling the general ledger.

Daily, weekly and monthly reporting.

The accountant will work closely and be the key point of contact for corporate accounting staff.
Competencies:
- Compute, review, analyze, and reconcile data related to customer and vendor invoices, purchase orders and general ledger balances.
- Strong communication skills.
- ERP experience with CSI/Syteline or similar system.
- Proficient with Excel.
- Ability to work independently.
